Warhol is the guy who made the soup cans, the center of the studio and cultural center known as The Factory. The most famous name in pop art is that of Andy Warhol. The movement took images, symbols, and ideas from popular culture and events and incorporated them into visual art. and Europe right around the same time that the mid-century movement was in full swing. This is the art style that is period accurate to the decor. It’s a choice between Pop Art and Contemporary Art. Or, you could search for art that is trendy and chic today and compliments the mid-century style. You could strive for art that matches the classic mid-century decor we see in vintage photos. So, what’s the best type of art for mid-century modern decor? There are essentially two paths you could take, depending on your taste.
